Email SupportFrequently Asked Questions
How does the AI meal analysis work?
Simply take a photo of your meal or select one from your library. Our AI, powered by GPT-4o Vision, analyzes the image to identify ingredients and estimate nutritional content including calories, macros, vitamins, and minerals.
How accurate is the nutritional analysis?
Our AI provides estimates based on visual analysis. While highly accurate for common foods and standard portions, we recommend using the feedback feature if you notice any inaccuracies. The AI will re-analyze based on your input.
How do I connect Apple Health?
When you first open the app, you'll be prompted to grant Apple Health permissions. You can also enable this later in Settings > Apple Health. Make sure to allow both read and write access for the best experience.
What nutrients are tracked?
Calorily tracks 35+ nutrients including calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, sugar, all B vitamins, vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, and more.
Is my data private?
Yes! Your meal photos are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers. Nutrition data is stored locally on your device and in your personal Apple Health account. We never share your health data with third parties.
Can I edit the nutritional data?
Currently, you can provide feedback on meal analysis which triggers a re-analysis. We're working on manual editing features for a future update.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > scroll to the bottom > tap 'Sign Out'. To completely delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@calorily.com.
